Formerly full-time worldwide marketing and external communications director for the tax practice of Ernst & Young. Previous in-house roles include marketing and communications director for Ernst & Young’s global network of associated law practices – EY Law; worldwide marketing and communications director for Arthur Andersen’s network of associated law practices – Andersen Legal; and head of communications for English law firm Nabarro Nathanson. In these roles he handled a number of high level projects including mergers and disposals.

Other legal sector client experience includes working with US law firms as well as Landmark barristers’ chambers, publishers Martindale Hubbell and the International Bar Association. Other client experience includes Mars, The Economist newspaper, Executive Interim Management, IBM and Virgin.

Chris is also chairman of the UK-based Professional Services Marketing Group (www.psmg.co.uk), the leading not-for-profit organisation promoting excellence in professional services marketing. In 2004 Chris was shortlisted as UK legal marketing director of the Year for the LEMAS awards.
Alison Spicer
Partner

An experienced commercial property lawyer, who trained and practised at London City law firm Nabarro Nathanson.   Current work includes acting as an independent adjudicator for the Department for Constitutional Affairs on the London Congestion Charge.   She also has editorial and legal editing experience, having worked as a freelance legal editor for the UK’s online case reporting service, Lawtel. This role involved analysing judgments issued by the Courts and verifying and correcting case reports prepared by other lawyers under tight publishing deadlines.
 
Alison has acted as a spokesperson for her clients to the media on legal matters.  She is a member of the Institute of Linguists and holds a postgraduate Diploma in Translation.  She is a fluent Spanish and French speaker.  She also has management and organisational skills gained through work at the British Council and the English-Speaking Union.
Kate Hinze
Consultant


Consultant with a wide range of marketing and communications experience for UK and US law firms. In-house experience includes public relations and marketing roles for international law firm White & Case; US law firm McDermott Will & Emery; UK law firm Barlow Lyde & Gilbert and City firm Middleton Potts. Client experience also includes UK firm Cripps Harries Hall, Spanish firm Garrigues and US-based Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, handling a variety of value-adding projects.

Kate was previously assistant editor on a legal title and project manager for Chambers Publishing, the publishers of The Chambers UK, Global and US guides to the legal profession. Kate is also managing director of KHinze Ltd, a specialist public relations, marketing and communications agency.
Nikki Milward

A consultant with experience in the legal and property sectors.  Her in-house experience includes marketing and business development roles in law with Charles Russell and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and in property with cost consultants AYH plc and RLF where she has developed and executed a wide range of projects. 
 
Nikki has worked with the Professional Services Marketing Group for more than six years and for the last three years has chaired the London and South East Branch of the organisation.
 
Nikki is also Director of The Way Forward, a marketing consultancy focusing on  working with small to medium sized professional services firms to realize their marketing and business development potential.
Victoria Holdsworth

Victoria Holdsworth is a specialist consultant in international media, diplomatic support, and cross-cultural communications. She has extensive experience organising high profile press conferences, events and meetings across a range of sectors, including trade, political and cultural.

Victoria is an experienced journalist with strong writing and editorial skills and has excellent contacts with journalists from around the world. She was formerly programme director at the Foreign Press Association and a London correspondent for a major South African media group.

Her clients include a UN agency, a major European Embassy and a German-based energy think-tank. She is currently editorial consultant to a Middle East trade publication, which she helped launch. She continues to work for the Foreign Press Association and the London Press Club.
